Great Technique, Great Classes, Great Instructors, Great Dancers
Our Story: Dance Connection, founded in 2008 in Farmington NM, thrived and saw success with weekly classes and established the first Competition Team at a dance studio in the Farmington area. Amanda Montoya created Dance Connection Competition Team (DCCT) in 2009. After 10 seasons as resident Choreographer and Competition Team Director, Miss Amanda purchased the business in 2018. In 2020 Dance Connection added a Las Cruces Location where strong connections were reestablished with several individuals Miss Amanda danced with through College.
Dance Connection focuses on Connections and developing "Greatness". Connection is essential for a dancer to grow and strengthen their own facility, learning connection points from classes to movements in performance. Life long bonds are formed with fellow dancers when connections are established at dance class, dance conventions, and dance competitions. Community connections are realized through performances; sharing the passion, athleticism, and artistry of dance.
Great dancers are identified in may ways; great technique, great passion, great commitment are all elements that make a dancer's performance great. Being a great person is essential to building strong connections with fellow dancers. Learning discipline, owning mistakes, embracing accomplishments and opportunities and recognizing individual strengths as well as celebrating and supporting fellow dancers are all elements grown though the art of dance. Great Dancers; great People, building strong and powerful Connections through dance classes, dance performances, dance competitions.
